Australian Financial Services Educators

The Association of Financial Services Educators Ltd (AFSE) is an association formed by a group of educators from industry and academia, for the purpose of fostering the exchange of ideas and research in relation to financial services.  The association also aims to support and to act as an independent voice representing the interest of educators in relation to the regulation and importance of standards within the financial services industry.  The AFSE has been active in conducting seminars and an annual conference since 2001.

AFSE Mission

The mission of the Association of Financial Services Educators is to advance the profession of financial services education and its positive impact on the industry and community.

AFSE Objectives

  • develop and promote high standards of competency, ethics and professional conduct among financial services educators;
  • encourage positive interaction between financial services professionals, the regulators of the financial services industry and financial services educators;
  • promote and advance financial services education and the effectiveness of financial services educators;
  • assist in the development of appropriate competencies and standards for financial services educators;
  • promote and advance the training and education of financial services educators;
  • provide opportunities for the exchange, dissemination and discussion of views, information, experiences and opinions among financial services educators ;
  • encourage research by financial services educators;
  • represent the views of financial services educators.
