For the last 7 or so years Terry has been a shareholder in companies that have provided technology services to schools and higher education (NextEd Ltd. and MyInternet Ltd.), mainly in Australia and Asia. Most recently he has shifted his focus to investing in and acquiring higher education ventures in China (via China Professional Education Ltd.). Terry was previously involved in the venture capital industry in Japan, China, the USA and Australia, primarily dealing with telecommunications and information technology related investments. He has also been a senior Australian Government official and involved in two reviews of the Australian higher education system.
