ODLAA 2003 Conference
The ODLAA 2003 conference, "Sustaining quality learning environments", was held 1–4 October 2003, in Canberra, Australia.
Theme
The theme, Sustaining quality learning environments, captured some of the essential concerns of open and distance eduction in our time: a concern for defining and achieving quality education; a concern for the practical elements of sustaining quality endeavours; an acknowledgement that effective teaching and learning needs to pay attention to the wider learning environment, beyond the simple definition of the space a learner sits in.
